Le Pont 2007 in Toulouse
Since now 10 years, the annual “Le Pont” symposium brings together experts of bridge construction, civil engineering and specialists for design and maintenance.
This year’s congress took place in Toulouse on October the 16th and 17th. Major topics were the complexity with a structure’s general condition survey together with inspection and maintenance aspects.
In this respect, maxit France presented maxit CarboCath®, a cathodic protection system for concrete structures. Mr. Vintzinger – product development France – made a complete presentation of the overall new system, and underlined the interest for structure owners of a sustainable renovation system: CarboCath®, designed to be a durable solution against ongoing corrosion and with the possibility to be monitored remotely.
Questions were numerous at the maxit exhibition stand. Here, visitors obtained detailed information about the principles of Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) and about the maxit CarboCath® system.
